Step 3 - Cut the block 
In  production, blocks are cut on special various machines in the required  thicknesses and sizes in two fundamentally different ways: diamond ropes  or diamond disks. For sawing one block, sometimes it takes 2-3 days, depending on the material and the required final dimensions of the details. For  materials with a pronounced pattern, the direction of the block cut is  taken into account, either along or across, since at the output it is  absolutely two different slab patterns.

Step 3 (1) - selection of finished slabs
If the  project is small and there are only standard thicknesses of materials (2  and 3 cm), you can buy finished products in the warehouses of factories  that specialize in the preparation of slabs of granite, marble, onyx,  travertine, quartzite.In this case, you can immediately see the picture on the material web and select exactly the slices you like.The main factories with ready slabs are in Spain, Italy, Turkey, China, Brazil, India.Each  country has its own peculiarities of processing the material, they need  to be known, so it is better to entrust the selection to a  professional.
